Terms of Service

These terms govern access to and use of the Evently platform. Where Evently and your organisation have entered into a signed written agreement covering the service, that agreement governs and prevails over these terms to the extent of any conflict.

Accounts and access

Accounts are provisioned by the organisation you belong to. That organisation decides who may access its workspace and what role each person holds, and it is responsible for managing those accounts. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity carried out under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service unlawfully, or to store or transmit unlawful content;
• attempt to access another organisation's data, or any part of the service you have not been granted access to;
• probe, scan or test the security of the service without our prior written consent, or interfere with its normal operation;
• reverse engineer the service, or use it to build a competing product;
• resell or provide the service to third parties except as permitted by your organisation's agreement with us.

Customer data

Your organisation retains ownership of the data it puts into the platform. We process it to provide the service and on your organisation's instructions, as described in the Privacy Policy and in any data processing agreement in place.

Availability and changes

We may update the service, and these terms, as the platform develops. Where a change materially affects your organisation's use of the service we will give reasonable notice. Any service level commitments are those set out in your organisation's agreement with us.

Termination

Your organisation may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend access where necessary to protect the platform or its users — for example in response to a security incident or a breach of the acceptable use terms above. On termination, data handling follows your organisation's agreement and the Privacy Policy.
